Latino Health Access (LHA) is an award winning, non-profit, 501c3 organization that was established in 1993. The center was created to assist with the multiple health needs of Latinos in Orange County .

LHA assists in improving the quality of life and health of uninsured, under-served people through quality preventive services and educational programs, emphasizing full participation in decisions affecting health.

Peter Vidmar, Olympic Gold Medalist and Vice Chairman of the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, visited Santa Ana on Tuesday, December 9, 2008 to make a special presentation at the offices of Latino Health Access.

Latino Health Access founder and executive director America Bracho  accepts congratulations from Olymic Gold Medalist Peter Vidmar and    California State Senator Lou Correa. The presentation was covered by a number of Spanish language media including: El Aviso, Miniondas, Farandula USA and Rumores.

Latino Health Access, gold medal winner of the 2008 Spotlight Awards presented by Anthem Blue Cross Foundation, was presented with a check for $10,000 to continue promoting good nutrition and physical activity. The agency has been fighting to provide low-income residents of Orange County with increased health access for the last 15 years.
