Rubi Gonzalez-Borja

Facilities Manager and Compliance
Committee Manager

For people to thrive at work and feel comfortable in their environments, they need to be in buildings that are safe, welcoming, organized and efficient at providing services with excellence. For the last 10 years Rubi has ensured this is the case with Latino Health Access and understands the importance of her role as facilities manager.  She manages two LHA properties, the Latino Health Access Office Building and the LHA Park and Community Center.  She also serves as the Safety Coordinator and strives to keep LHA employees safe.

Additionally she is a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician since 2001 and enjoys educating parents on the proper use of child restraints and keeping children safe while in vehicles.

When Ruby isn’t busy working on a facility project or keeping employees safe she is most happy spending time with her family and friends traveling and being out in nature; hiking, camping, or just relaxing at the river or beach.

Rubi holds a double major in Psychology and Social Ecology from the University of California Irvine, with an emphasis in community organization.
