PARK & COMMUNITY CENTER

Our Park and Community Center
Latino Health Access worked for ten years to open the only park and community center in the 92701 zip code. Today we need your help to keep it open. The park is entirely volunteer-run and offers a community garden, a library and even Zumba classes.
It costs $85,000 to keep the park open for one year. We are humbly asking our friends and community members to help us. Please consider supporting our Indiegogo campaign by clicking here: TinyPark, Big Hopes and Dreams

Park Resident Advisory Committee
Years ago, LHA began conversations with city officials, the business community and residents to create the first park and community center in the 92701 zip code.
Residents assisted in the design and elements of the park, and today neighborhood residents sit on the eight-person Community Park Advisory Board serving as community advocates for open space.
Our advisory group continues to advocate for additional open space and healthy food choices.
Residents are already enjoying their new park, which offers an array of programs that will increase family health and wellness.
